Bordeaux 2050
Journalists for the Environment
The COP24 United Nations Climate Convention took place at a time in which climate skeptics were a large part of society.
Our research showed traditional communication, no matter how alarming the facts were, was not cutting through, the climate emergency being considered too abstract and its consequences too far away in time.
We realised for people to acknowledge the climate emergency, we needed to make them experience it, today. That’s how the first wine of the future was born.
Using climate data projection on the next 30 years to simulate the exact taste of a Bordeaux grown in 2050 if climate conditions don't improve, we created the first wine of the future, giving politicians and society a real taste of global warming and inviting them to take action against global warming.
“Climate change is a reality. If you’re still skeptical, taste Bordeaux 2050”
PATRICIA ESPINOSA (UN CLIMATE CHANGE EXEC. SECRETARY)
